I’m in Decatur visiting family for a few days, grabbing small pockets of rest before the next album drop, and we swung by Over the Top for a treat. The two younger gals working were super polite and patient, especially when my daughter insisted on all the pink ice cream she could possibly fit in a cup, but finally landed on the cherry dolewipe. They handled it with kindness and a smile that made the moment even sweeter.The peaches & cream was on point, rich and bright, and the kids devoured their scoops like it was the highlight of the whole trip. Tip well earned. Thank you for giving us a fun sweet break in the middle of family time. Epic playground outside too! 💚JoshM

Great ice cream and friendly staff. My wife and I spit a four scoop flight of Ice Cream for $7. We LOVED the Marionberry but ALL of the flavors were very good. I highly recommend this place.

Our visit to the Over the Top Ice Cream Shop was a delightful experience following our game of mini golf next door. Upon our arrival, we noticed a line of eager customers, and it seemed that the popularity of the shop kept the line steady throughout our time there, indicating they were quite busy. It was great to see that they offered some dairy-free options, catering to different dietary preferences. Although we didn’t indulge in the ice cream flights they had several sizes available. The vibrant decor inside the shop added to the cheerful atmosphere. One of the highlights for us was definitely the color-changing spoons we used to enjoy our treats, which added a playful touch to our visit. I mean what is not to like about a spoon that changes colors! #bucketlist
